Seattle P-I drops dayparting

In 2004, SeattlePI.com embarked on one of the more ambitious plans to implement a “dayparting” strategy, changing the site four times a day to adapt to how people want different things at different times of the day. Despite some early traffic gains, the site has abandoned the strategy, deciding that it “can’t be all things to all people all the time.”
