A new report from the Pew Internet & American Life Project says home broadband adoption is going mainstream, which means user-generated content is coming from all kinds of internet users, not just the most wired people as in the past.


A new report from the Pew Internet & American Life Project says home broadband adoption is going mainstream, which means user-generated content is coming from all kinds of internet users, not just the most wired people as in the past.

The report says about 48 million Americans — mostly those with high-speed at home — have posted content to the internet.
