University of Hong Kong students are “live” blogging the WTO conference in Hong Kong this week. In a unique partnership, the students are working closely with “The Standard” newspaper on this.
They’ve produced a site called Curbside @WTO, which combines blogs and feature stories contributed by journalism students from the University of Hong Kong, journalists from The Standard newspaper and EastSouthWestNorth blogger, Roland Soong. Curbside’s goal is not only to inform and entertain readers on the events surrounding the WTO, but also to explore the potential of online journalism.
