At CES, Disney CEO Robert Iger showed what the new Disney.com would look like.

From WSJ:

The site is an overhaul of the current online presence (which is more a site map than portal, Mr. Iger said) and heavy on widgets, video, personalization and a feature called XD, or “xtreme digital.”

“This is Disney.com on steroids,” Mr. Iger said, and handed the reins to Disney Online exec Paul Yanover. Disney XD caters to young people who are used to watching videos, chatting with friends and playing games all at the same time, Mr. Yanover said, and also incorporates social-networking elements to let kids view and comment on each others’ saved pages, clips and music.
