EveryBlock partners with the Chicago Tribune

EveryBlock has launched a partnership with the Chicago Tribune and is open to partnering with other news organizations in any of the cities it has sites in so far.
At chicagotribune.com/block, the Trib is publishing a map and list of local news articles, powered by EveryBlock. The page shows articles from the last 48 hours that have referenced particular locations in the city of Chicago, giving you the ability to browse local news coverage geographically.

Very smart move on behalf of The Tribune. Adrian Holovaty is an idea machine and cares about the newspaper industry. His session at ONA in Toronto last year was at capacity. Newspapers can learn a lot from him and with this partnership, they likely will.
