Forbes: Pulitzer Board Has Its Head In The Sand

Jonathan Dube, who sits on the board of the Online News Association, says many stories have a wider impact because they're published online and can reach a wider audience.

Dube won an Online News Association Award in 2000 for his coverage of the 1999 World Trade Organizations protests in Seattle for The Walt Disney Co.'s (nyse: DIS - news - people ) ABCNews.com.

"There have been times when millions more people read the online version of a Pulitzer-winning story and not the print version that actually wins the prize, and they're getting a completely different experience," he says.
