NBC News has launched a new online trivia game application on Facebook called What’s Your iCue?, MediaWeek reports.
The new game, created by NBC News’ education arm NBC Learn, challenges users to answer questions based on video footage from real news events while facing a 30-second clock. Users can play the free game against their Facebook friends in real time or at Whatsyouricue.com.
What’s Your iCue? has landed a sponsorship deal with Lexus, a deal which was negotiated by appssavvy, a startup which serves as a sales rep firm for various social media app producers.
iCue is not NBC News first foray into social app games. Sister organization MSNBC.com has previously released the popular NewsBlaster game on Facebook and other platforms.
