New York Times introduces Op-Classic
February 10, 2008 · · 1 Comment
Everybody likes a “classic.” Just the sound of the word implies something great. Tapping into the archives is an easy way for newspapers to create “new” content online, and The New York Times is doing just that.
The Times is launching Op-Classic, a series presenting commentary from The Times’s archive. “Every week, we will feature essays by an Op-Ed columnist or contributor that we hope sheds some light on the current news or provides a window on the past.”
