NYTimes.com's multimedia Iraq reports
The New York Times' Web site has been producing some great multimedia pieces. Interestingly, the site has stationed an Internet news producer in the Middle East who is responsible for coordinating multimedia packages for the Web site. That's an unusual approach -- most sites send reporters into the field and have the producers coordinating the packages from the office. The Web producer is based in Kuwait and helping to create the "Times War Briefing," a daily report of audio clips, maps and photos from New York Times correspondents in the Middle East.Apr 15, 2003 | E-MAIL | SAVE | PRINT
