When The (Wilmington, Del.) News Journal published a front-page story Oct. 9 on an apartment complex condemned because of toxic mold, its Web site, delawareonline.com, also published a version in Spanish. Publishing versions in multiple languages online is a great idea for newspapers that have serve large multilingual populations -- and particularly in this case, since the apartment complex residents are mostly Hispanic and many don't speak English.Oct 02, 2002 | E-MAIL | SAVE | PRINT | PERMALINK | DISCUSS(0)
