Google News goes global
Google News has launched five new sites aimed at specific countries: Google News Australia; Google News Canada; Google News India; Google News New Zealand; and Google News United Kingdom. The company's computer algorithms still scan sites around the globe, but added emphasis is places on news and sites from those countries, plus country-specific pages have been added to each site.
