Converged journalists dissatisfied
A recent survey asking Danish journalists about convergence has some discouraging results (though the sample size is small). About 65 percent said they believe delivering news to more platforms will result in journalism that is less thorough, Ernst Poulsen reports. Of those who deliver to more than one media platform (about 60 out of 341 surveyed), 30 percent think their own journalism is lower quality now, while only 12 said the quality has improved. Meanwhile, 18 percent feel that it's more fun going to work and 29 percent feel less job satisfaction.May 22, 2003 | E-MAIL | SAVE | PRINT | PERMALINK | DISCUSS(0)
