latimes.com: Enrique's Journey, Pulitzer winner
Latimes.com's "Enrique's Journey" tells the moving story of a teenage boy who journeys from Honduras to North Carolina in order to find his mother. Sonia Nazario's text and Don Bartletti's photographs tell the story, supplemented by excellent maps, sidebars, statistics, and video. This was awarded Most Innovative Use of Digital Media in the 2003 Digital Edge Awards and given an Honorable Mention in the in the National Press Photographer's 2003 Best of Photojournalism on the Web Awards for Best Feature Picture Story.
