FCC ownership rules take effect Sept. 4
The Federal Communications Commission announced Tuesday that the new media ownership rules will take Sept. 4, TV Week reports. "An FCC source said the agency is free to begin processing the applications as of Sept. 4, even though leading lawmakers are threatening to overturn critical parts of the FCC's deregulation.
