HeraldNet: Election Connection

HeraldNet.com, the Web site of the Everett, Wash., Herald, has launched a new online survey called the "Election Connection" asking readers to help the paper identify which issues the candidates should be addressing in their upcoming campaigns. "This is how it works: We’ve included our ideas for the critical issues in a dozen of the local communities The Herald covers. It's up to you to rank them and tell us which deserve the most attention from candidates running for office in your community. And we want your ideas, too. So if we overlooked an issue that means the most to you, simply write it in and we'll take it from there. We will use the results to ask your candidates about where they stand on the issues most important to you. Then we'll publish a full report on our findings."
