How Google News compares to competition
Google News gets about 3.4 million users monthly, according to Nielsen//NetRatings -- which puts it roughly at the bottom of Nielsen//NetRatings's Top 20 Current Events and Global News sites (see most recent list). comScore Media Metrix hasn't been including Google News in its General News category but will start doing so next month, according to OJR's Mark Glaser. comScore would have ranked Google News at No. 18 in July, just below LATimes.com and above Netscape News, SFGate and the Guardian.Sep 02, 2003 | E-MAIL | SAVE | PRINT | PERMALINK | DISCUSS(0)
