APME convergence award winners
The newspapers and Web sites of Florida Today and The Forum of Fargo, N.D., recently won the Associated Press Managing Editors association's APMEOnline Convergence Awards for "effective interplay between a story in print and the same story online." Florida Today won for "Columbia Lost," its coverage of the shuttle crash on Feb. 1. The Forum won in the small newspaper category with a multimedia package, "Saving North Dakota," looking at the state's dwindling population. The awards will be presented during the annual APME conference Oct. 15-18 in Phoenix.Nov 03, 2003 | E-MAIL | SAVE | PRINT | PERMALINK | DISCUSS(0)
