CBSNews.com gets hacked
CBSNews.com got hacked on Friday, and the home page was briefly replaced with an advertisement for presidential candidate Ohio Rep. Dennis Kucinich, CBSNews.com reported. The screen automatically shifted to a page playing a 30-minute video called "This Is The Moment," in which the liberal congressman — aided by the likes of actor Ed Asner — outlines his philosophy. "According to the most recent CBSnews/nytimes poll (sic), 77% of Democrats do not know enough about Dennis Kucinich. Since we can not expect the media to provide this information I decided to help them out," the hacker page read. "Please watch this video and listen to the man who has inspired me into taking this rash action." The Kucinich campaign denied involvement and a CBS spokeswoman said the network was looking into the matter.Oct 04, 2003 | E-MAIL | SAVE | PRINT | PERMALINK | DISCUSS(11)

Dan Rather has been my favorite nightly world news reporter for many years. I will no longer watch his reporting. I feel that he has gone too far in bashing the president of the United States. Not only that, He has slanted the news more and more against both the presidents Bush, and I personally was disappointed that he showed more respect to Saddam in the interview with him that he has shown to our presidents. I am a registered democrat, but I still have a respect for the president of the United States, whomever he or she might be. Thank you.

It is no wonder why viewers are looking to cable news and going oneline to find "fair and balance" reporting. It is unfortunate that viewers who do not have access to these avenues have to rely on CBS and it's biasness. I was once guilty of accusing FOXNEWS as a conservative news base, now I tune in to FOX to get both sides of every issue so I can make my own decision in this election.

My wife and I will not watch CBS news until one of two actions occur. First a public apology to Mr Bush,if this isn't possible than Rather must go! The very idea of Rather monitoring the coming debates for CBS is demeaning to your organization!

I think that Dan Rather should be given a lead parachute and be retired. He is an anachronisim and too biased to be imparital. You need some younger blood that can be more objective and not let their personal opinion color their reporting. Am switching to Fox News that is more balanced and interviews both sides of an issue simultaneously.

I signed the email petition to have Dan Rather fired. I am shocked that this document forgery story is not a bigger news item. It is a huge story about journalism and ethics, and deserves more press.
I am not a Bush supporter, I despise all politics as corrupt, but I stand against lies, deception and arrogance, which I see in Ken Lay, Martha Stewart, Michael Jackson, and Dan Rather.
Even President Bush bugs me by not admitting he could have done a few things better. Nobody want to admit faults or errors.
Someday they'll all see that transparency is better than cover-up, and honest admissions are better than paranoid evasions.

Back to the topic at hand: shame on the hacker, screw him.
That's digital vandalism and online terroristic action, not ethical or civilized. Hackers are the Taliban of the internet, they want to force us to see their crapola.
There are other ways to deal with this.

Once again you have made yourselves the laughing stock of TV journalism. Check with your competitor NBC about the so called missing explosives. And yes, Dan Rather should either make a public apology about his attempt to influence the election with the NATIONAL Guard fiasco or resign. It's hard enough to be a DNC waterboy without flubbing up a concocted story.

I am disgusted with CBS. After that last Dan Rather disgrace and now this new story about the old story on weapons I simply say, shame on you CBS. I will not watch you anymore as I do not trust you and when you cannot trust the news, things are bad. When will you democratic followers get the picture. After last Nov. Elections when the Republican swept the states, why cannot the Dem. party realize that until they come up with a candiate like those of old, Truman, Roosevelt and not these liberal fools who cow down to the likes of the Ted Kennedy's, the Al Sharptons, the M. Moores and all the other air head celebrities, they will never again put a Dem. into office. The american public sees through all this nonsense. We want someone we can trust. CBS its time you realized you cannot pull the wool over our eyes with your fake reporting.
