Columnist creates Dean dance remix
The Internet helped Howard Dean rise to the top, and now it may hasten his decline. As America mocked his yelps at a rally after the Iowa caucuses Monday night, several dance remixes of his comments made their way around the Internet. James Lileks, a Minneapolis Star-Tribune columnist and popular blogger, created and posted this dance remix track, which may be the best of the lot and quickly spread via e-mail.When you're done laughing, think about what Lileks has done -- he's used multimedia, his Weblog and the viral nature of the Internet to comment on Dean's speech and reach far more people, in a far more engaging way, than any other medium could.
