Washington Post lets domain name expire
The Washington Post failed to renew its $35 annual registration for WashPost.com, causing e-mail communication to and from the newspaper to get interupted today. Oops.
The most publicized case of failing to renew domain names was in 1999 when Microsoft failed to renew passport.com. A good reminder for media organizations to stay on top of little things like this.
