Watchblogs put journalists under scrutiny
A number of bloggers have launched "adopt-a-journalist" campaigns to track election coverage -- aka 'Watchblogs.' The New York Times' Jodi Wilgoren, the Associated Press' Calvin Woodward, Reuters' Patricia Wilson and the Washington Post's Dan Balz each has bloggers watching their every scribble. Along with CJR's nonpartisan Campaign Desk, the efforts are putting some of the nation's top political reporters under intense public scrutiny, OJR's Mark Glaser says.
