Bloggers cover murder trial
You don't need to be a journalist to cover a trial anymore. Further proof that blogging is making participatory journalism a reality: A new Web site, www.trialdiary.com, has become a must read among those following a Seattle-area murder trial.
The Web site is the product of two local women, Donna Larsen and Hilary Bramwell Mohr, who offer day-by-day details of the trial, from testimony and forensic evidence, to funny moments and casual observations about the many players and observers.
A local attorney even told The Seattle Times he visits the site to get the real news on the trial.
