Locating stories by GPS
Here's a very cool idea from Poynter's Larry Larsen, as reported recently by Al Tompkins: "Larry Larsen has been saying for a year or more that web editors should attach a GPS location to every story they file. That way, readers could not only find the news of their community, but they could find the news within a city block of where they were if they wanted. Now, there is a site (http://www.geourl.com/) that Larry sent to me that let's you locate a web address by GPS coordinates."
