Web writer wants to own White House
The Washington Post's White House Briefing is creating a bit of a buzz in D.C. "We want to own the White House," says columnist Dan Froomkin. Froomkin recently sent an e-mail to White House correspondents asking them to send him e-mails when they have scoops so he can more easily find and link to their work. "If you have a great White House tidbit," Froomkin wrote, "e-mail it to me and I will be delighted to use it and credit you copiously (unless you'd prefer not)." So far, The Washingtonian reports, most White House reporters have preferred not to respond.
