Rocky Mountain News: Last Words
"Last Words" is an impressive new package from the Rocky Mountain News centered around letters from soldiers who died in Iraq.
The package includes a series of stories on the letters significance to their families; profiles of the fallen soldiers; touching video of one wife reading letters from her deceased husband; and the text of several of the letters soldiers sent home.
Visitors can also write messages of support for U.S. troops overseas, read other readers' notes or send individual condolences to families.
Great idea and well executed.
