Promoting chats in print
The Seattle Times just published a three-day series examining the failing of public defense. The writer did a live online Q&A today with readers, of which the transcript is now posted on the site. But the newspaper gets extra points too for 1A plug for online. Next to the story they had a graphic promomoting the Q&A at noon and how to find the whole series online. Not technical or time-consuming, just plain good use of the Web and cross-promotion. If only all newspapers practiced this type of prominent cross-promotion regularly..,
