What's the best way to find the lowest gas prices in your area? Web sites like www.GasBuddy.com and www.Gaspricewatch.com, which have enlisted armies of volunteer "spotters" who scout out and submit prices to the sites so they have up-to-date listings of the best deals around.
Hmmm, sounds an awful lot like citizen journalists...
