Dow Jones, Google News win Codies

Dow Jones was the top winner of this year's 2004 Codie Awards presented by the Software & Information Industry Association, winning three in total:
• The Wall Street Journal Online, the largest paid subscription news site on the Web, was awarded "Best Online Business News or Information Service."
• The Wall Street Journal Online's Health Industry Edition was awarded "Best Online Science/Technology/Medical Information Service" for the second consecutive year.
• Launched just last year, Dow Jones NewsPlus--the Web-based news, features and market information enhancement to Dow Jones News Service--was awarded "Best Online Professional Financial Information Service."

Google News was also a winner, for Best Online Consumer Service.
