World's first 3 mp cameraphone
To all those who scoff at cameraphones and their poor quality: think again. And this is only the beginning… in the future there will be no escaping the eye of the lens…
Anyone will be able to be a photojournalist. And scandals like Abu Ghraid, hopefully, will be even harder to conceal.

1 comments about 'World's first 3 mp cameraphone'I would like to see more of this type column. How journalists do their jobs and what equipment they use and why.
I use a Canon EOS Rebel w/28-80 standard lens, a 70-210 zoom wih 2x doubler and a EX550 flash. I find that the SONY Cyber-shot 5.0 MP camera for a backup has an extremely good flash for night shots.
I use a Mailstation for quick typing stories on the go. No waitign for power up. AA Batteries; plug itno any phone line. Not much different from full size keyboard; It is cheap, so I can bang it around and replace it for $20. Give one to each reporter instead of a $1000 laptop. I have a Sony digital recorder w/USB.
