Best online newspaper columnists
Wall Street Journal Online columnists Tim Hanrahan and Jason Fry won first place in the National Society of Newspaper Columnist contest, which recognizes outstanding work on columns published in 2003.
Tim Hanrahan and Jason Fry were awarded for their online-only Real Time column. The judges noted that Hanrahan and Fry write columns "in an engaging and often humorous style, develop clear and concise arguments, and effectively tailor their work to an Internet-savvy readership."
2nd place went to blogger Tom Regan of The Christian Science Monitor
3rd Place went to Cynthia L. Webb of Washingtonpost.com
And blogger Sheila Lennon of projo.com got an Honorable Mention.
