Sun-Sentinel launches entertainment site
The Sun-Sentinel has launched SouthFlorida.com, a new entertainment guide for the tri-county area, including Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade, OnlineJournalism.com reports. The site targets a broad 18 to 54-year-old demographic with local events listings and entertainment and celebrity news. "SouthFlorida.com will also help grow the Sun-Sentinel brand," says online General Manager Gary Farnsworth. "Through cross promotion with our multimedia partners, we anticipate that SouthFlorida.com will ultimately drive readers back to the Sun-Sentinel, Sun-Sentinel.com and our other print, television and online products."
