Beware: Text messages stored
In case you thought that your text messages were gone once you deleted them, be warned: Cell phone carriers may store your text messages.
"One of the false assumptions that people make is that when they hit the delete button, messages are gone forever, but nothing can be further from the truth," says Jeff Kagan, an independent telecommunications analyst in Atlanta.
Just like with e-mail, remember that anything you type might be seen by anyone, at any time.
