Dig into those archives!
The Rocky Mountain News just did a special report on the journey of one of the first "AIDS babies," Jonathan Swain, who was the first Colorado child diagnosed with AIDS, the victim of a tainted blood transfusion in 1983. The online package includes a video report from News 4, as well as an archive of Rocky Mountain News stories going back to 1985. Great idea -- newspapers should dig into their pre-Web archives and post related content whenever possible -- especially for special projects -- as its an easy way to add value to the online report without having to create new content.
