Wonkette, Dave Barry to blog DNC?
Ken Layne writes in to point out that since Ana Marie Cox (aka Wonkette) has been hired to cover the Democratic Convention for MTV, she'll presumably have credentials and be blogging the event for Wonkette as well.
He also says Dave Barry will be blogging the convention this year. He always goes and has Miami Herald credentials, Layne says, but this is the first time he'll blog it.
This raises a good point -- the DNC has issued a limited number of credentials to bloggers -- but there may be many more people blogging from the convention. Anyone there -- from delegates to traditional media employees -- could blog from the convention, and with so many people blogging these days, it's a sure bet some will.
So while only a few dozen bloggers got "blog media credentials," expect many more blogs to post from the convention.
