NYTimes.com expands RSS feeds

NYTimes.com has expanded its Really Simple Syndication (RSS) offerings to 27 categories, including new feeds such as Most E-mailed Articles, Multimedia and Week in Review. You can find all of the Times's RSS feeds at NYTimes.com/rss.

Other news sites that recently added RSS include WSJ and Boston.com

Note the increasing trend of sites offering RSS feeds for multimedia elements. Reuters recently launched video RSS feeds.

This is also the first "Most E-mailed Articles" feed we've seen, which is a great idea.

Look for companies (at least, smart ones) to increasingly offer more interesting and tailored feeds than the usual "top news," "top sports," etc...
