Delegates blog convention
More than two dozen delegates are blogging from the convention according to CyberJournalist.net's latest count, though you can be sure many more are also doing so. New York University journalism professor Jay Rosen, who is covering the convention for his blog, says delegate bloggers play a different role than traditional media or even other bloggers. "You can't apply to it the criteria of news or even punditry," Rosen told The Associated Press. "One shouldn't expect startling new information because that's not the point. The point is to share the experience."
