Blogging hurricanes
As Florida braces for Hurricane Charley and Tropical Storm Bonnie, Weblogs are a good tool for news sites in the coverage area.
In fact, Hurricane Bonnie back in 1998 marked the first time a news site used the Weblog format to cover a breaking story, on charlotte.com.
Among the sites blogging Charley so far are WeatherBug, which has dispatched one of its meteorologists to blog Hurricane Charley; and The Tampa Tribune and WFLA.
