Sprint launching high-quality wireless video
Sprint is going to start streaming much higher-quality video on cell phones than has previously been available. The service will stream video at 15 frames a second, as compared to the choppy 1 or 2 frames a second for Sprint's current service. The new service is roughly half the quality of television, which broadcasts at 24 to 30 frames a second. Sprint's service will cost $9.99 a month and feature three-minute news clips from NBC, Fox Sports and The Weather Channel.
