Reuters' innovative cross-media buy

Reuters.com and Honda have signed an innovative cross-media program, including first ever 24-hour, full-site takeover of Reuters.com on Sept. 22 in order to promote the 2005 Honda Odyssey minivan. Reuters says it is the first time a major advertiser has executed a 24-hour full site road block on a large, mainstream Web site (we're not aware of any others, so let us know if you are). The deal also includes promotion on the Reuters sign at Times Square and a street marketing campaign on Military Island in Times Square.
