Successful dayparting in Arizona and more insights Beyond the Printed Word
Since azcentral.com, the web operation of the Arizona Republic, began experimenting with dayparting 18 months ago by launching azcentral@night -- a redesigned home page in the evenings with lighter, riskier content -- evening page views are up 30 percent and evening visits are up 25 percent, Mike Coleman, azcentral.com's Senior Manager for Digital Media, told the annual IFRA/WAN/FIPP Beyond the Printed Word online publishing conference in Prague last week.
Here is a summary of all the presentations from the conference, as well as a conference moblog (which oddly scrolls right instead of down, particularly odd considering it's an online conference).
