washingtonpost.com names new Executive Editor
Washingtonpost.Newsweek Interactive announced today that James M. Brady will be the Executive Editor of washingtonpost.com, effective February 1, 2005. Brady will succeed Executive Editor Doug Feaver, 65, who is retiring.
Brady has been a consultant to WPNI, overseeing key projects and strategic initiatives. He served as assistant managing editor and sports editor of washingtonpost.com from 1995-1998.
Brady served as Vice President of Operations, Executive Director of Editorial Operations and Group Programming Director of News and Sports for Dulles-based America Online, where he managed content production, editorial partnerships and the development of new technologies and product innovations.
