Inauguration news coverage
News sites are going all out for the inauguration. The Washington Post, not surprisingly, has robust coverage. Washington Post and washingtonpost.com reporters and editors will file updates, photos, audio and video to a special Inauguration Blog from the scene in Washington throughout Inauguration Day and into the night. An impressive, detailed interactive Flash map shows street closings and the parade route and is being updated continually as street closures and restrictions go into effect and are gradually phased out. And the site is having a series of live online chats, including "instant analysis" from Associate Editor Robert G. Kaiser as soon as the speech ends.
Here's complete coverage from some of the other major news sites:
The New York Times
BBC
CNN
MSNBC.com
ABCNews.com
And, for comparison, here is nytimes.com's special coverage section from Bush's first inauguration in 2001.
