Entertainment event RSS feeds
Some great comments in response to CyberJournalist.net's recent RSS post recommending sites consider using RSS to deliver classified and calendar listings and personalized news feeds based on keywords:
Adrian Holovaty points out that Lawrence.com, the local entertainment site he's the lead developer for, has dozens of event-related listings. Not only can readers sign up for a general one, but they can subscribe to RSS feeds for any of the local venues or bands to find out who's playing where. Very, very cool. See http://www.lawrence.com/rss.
Lawrence.com also lets readers subscribe to RSS feeds for any searches on its site. Several other CyberJournalist.net readers pointed out that among the other sites that do that are Wired.com and Yahoo.
