My Yahoo! Ticker Beta
Yahoo! introduced a new prototype product today, the My Yahoo! Ticker Beta, that lets people view not just news and stock quotes, but content from any RSS feed. The ticker is a small customizable application that lives on the users' desktop and enables them to instantly view their My Yahoo! content (such as RSS feeds, sports scores, weather, etc...) without having to open a browser. You can download the beta version here.
Yahoo! continues to be ahead of the curve on incorporating RSS into its products, and as a result, will play a key role in helping RSS get more widely adopted.
