MediaStorm of multimedia storytelling

Multimedia guru Brian Storm is starting a new multimedia production studio, MediaStorm, aimed at ushering in "the next generation of multimedia storytelling."

Storm, who served as vice president of News, Multimedia & Assignment Services for Corbis and director of multimedia for MSNBC.com, said an a note that MediaStorm's goal is "to create epic productions, rich with detail, and timeless in their relevance."

The company will launch a publication, Voices, in the fall as "an eclectic showcase for multimedia storytellers - photographers, writers, radio reporters, and filmmakers - to connect with educated readers thirsty for well-produced, inspiring narratives."

The deadline for submissions to the inaugural issue is March 31.

It is cool idea but what about pay to the photojournalists? If it is just to do another web site using content and not paying then maybe not such a good idea? Isn't this what Corbis already did! We must find ways to get paid so everyone wins. I wish them luck but please pay for the work.
