Best of Photojournalism 2005: Web Winners
The winners of this year's Best of Photojournalism on the Web Contest have been announced. The judges said the competition among the 130 entries was the most competitive ever.
The New York Times on the Web captured the title of 'Best Use of the Web' "through the sheer quality and quantity of multimedia storytelling they produced throughout the 2004 year."
Perhaps most interesting, a photoblog won honorable mention in the Unaffiliated News Picture Story category (Just Married; Ephemera); and the judge's choice of Haiti Turns 200, by the Unaffiliated website Blueeyes Magazine, as the contest's 'Best Picture Story' winner.
Dozens of fantastic examples of great online multimedia work in the winners gallery.
