Arizona station, newspaper launch daily Webcast
The Arizona Republic's Web site and KPNX Channel 12 in Phoenix are partnering for a new 3-minute headlines Webcast. The newscasts are produced and anchored by KPNX's regular on-air news team and updated six times a day on weekdays between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. The 12 News I-CAST will feature breaking news, often with video from Sky 12, the station's helicopter. "I'm happy to report that we even have a sponsor lined up and more on the way, creating a new revenue stream," AZCentral.com digital media director Mike Coleman tells CyberJournalist.net.
