AP to charge for online content
The Associated Press announced today it will start charging newspapers and broadcasters to post its stories, photos and other content online beginning Jan. 1. Since 1995, most news outlets that pay for wire material for newspapers and broadcast shows have been allowed to use the material online for no extra cost.
