ESPN to launch new video player
ESPN.com plans to launch a new online video player on May 16 that will allow users to click within video ads for more information, MediaWeek reports. ESPN Motion 2.0 will run in Flash and not require a download like video currently does on ESPN. Video ads will play on one screen and an ad will appear next to it. Advertisers can embed links in the video that users can click on to display more information -- such as click on different models of cars in an auto ad.
