Best in Business Web winners
The Society of American Business Writers and Editors does not have a Web category for its Best in Business awards, but Web sites can enter the Real-Time News category. Here are the online winners.
Enterprise reporting
Bankrate.com: "Home ownership and Bush's second term" by Holden Lewis.
TheStreet.com: "Weighing Biovail's Claims" by Adam Feuerstein
Special projects
CNET News: "Breaking Digital Deadlock"
Certificate of Merit:
CNBC on MSN Money: "Bankruptcy Boom"
CNBC on MSN Money: "Basics Credit Series"
Breaking News
No Web sites won in the real-time news category, but The Charlotte Observer won an award for its "US Airways bankruptcy" coverage which it first broke on its Web site and then follow-up with a "well-explained comprehensive report" in the next day's paper.
